Bakau is on the north west tip of the KSMD
part of the Smiling Coast. It is a densely packed area east of the main
road which runs along the east of the country. It is part
desirable suburb and part shanty. There is a beautiful
fenced area full of flora specimens on its northern
fringe which is run by the Department of Agriculture who are
nearly in a rather dated building from the 1960's.
