Information:
Children in Gambia Basse & Suduwol (CHIGAMBAS) is a Swedish
charity and NGO whose goal is to improve the quality of life
for poor kids and uphold their rights in accordance with UNICEF's
Convention on the Rights of The Child.
Its main function is to find sponsors
for children who lack the financial support to pay school
fees and to finance the association's work in The Gambia.
Chigambas believes that all children have the right to an
education
and that their future prosperity is grounded in a decent education.
The association works with villagers and families to help
with the building of schools and support services which brings
the community and development process together in partnership.
