The budget priced guest house is situated away from the
tourist traps and near the beach (15 minutes stroll) and
amenities such as shops, diners, and taxis. 15 single
rooms in cottages with shared kitchen, shower / WC. Each
room has mosquito nets and a fan. |

The hotel's heyday was back in the 1970s and early part
of '80s. Since then it has been in decline, despite occasional
efforts at renovation. If you are not discouraged by its
sub-standard facilities and want an unbeatable coastal
ocean vista then this place is just the ticket. It has
275 standard bedrooms and bungalow suites, each with a
private bathroom, balcony or terrace. The main accommodation
block is of 3 storeys high, and offers the best sea views
from the upper 2 levels. |

This is a cosy little hideaway in a superb, serene location,
near to up-market stores, bars and the Atlantic beach,
which is across the road and over a small hill, or via
a side walk next to the Fajara Hotel, southbound. The
garden restaurant service is fully functional during the
winter holiday season. Francisco's has 12 air-conditioned,
furnished rooms, each with shower, WC, satellite TV, mini-fridge,
ceiling fan and there is a daily maid room cleaning service.

Limbas is a small place in a very quiet residential neighbourhood,
just off the Atlantic Road, with peace and tranquillity
assured. Bedrooms have a double bed, bathrooms with running
hot water, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, fridge, kettle,
hair dryers, satellite TV and a private terrace or balcony.
Food is prepared by their in-house chef and served al
fresco style next to the pool Bantaba (shaded seating
area). Drinks are available for sale. |

A luxury, 5 star hotel wedged on a cliff edge on the coast,
with some stunning, picture postcard views of rhun palms,
the sea and the sweeping swath of narrow beach which widens
as you look left. Ngala has 1 bedroom roomy suites and
a top notch restaurant. Service and comfort are two words
that best describe this quality boutique hotel. The only
downside is the lack of taxis on the main road; you need
to walk about 400m to the junction of Kairaba Avenue.

Situated on a residential sandy road they have simple
bedrooms, each with twin beds, en-suite bathroom, running
hot water, dressing table, chair and private terrace.
The atmosphere is friendly and you soon get to know staff
by name. Vegetarian dishes are available and barbecue
nights mingle everyone together by the poolside. Half-board
and bed and breakfast is available. |
