Consular Services:
• Consular Assistance
The Embassy of the Republic of The Gambia provides consular
services to Gambian citizens. This service includes providing
guidance in an accident, deceased persons and informing next
of kin, support during emergencies such as civil disturbances
and natural disasters. The consular office can also witness
and certify signatures and provide other notarial and legal
services, for which costs are payable.
• Gambian Passport
Gambian citizens are also able to obtain a Gambian passport
application form and be informed of the procedures or travel
documents.
• Gambian Visa
Note: Tourists and others travelling on last minute flights
will be allowed entry at Banjul Airport but will be required
to submit their passport to the Department of Immigration
within 48 hours to be issued a formal visa.
*The Gambian consular offices and embassies and are the only
accredited Gambian Government agencies who are permitted to
grant Gambian visas in a country outside of The Gambia.
