Information:
Hidden Gambia was a ground tour operator and a UK registered
private limited company which was incorporated
on the 12th June, 2002. All bookings were handled on their
behalf by Orion Holidays.
They used to offer organised bird watching and wildlife adventure
holidays that range from the west coast (Tanji and Gunjur)
up to Georgetown and Basse Santa Su located on the east of
the Gambia.
Trips:
Their excursions offered the chance to view over 540 species
of birds guided by experts safari guides for groups of between
8 to 10 people per guide. Most travel was mostly by river
boat which gave you the chance to watch hippos, monkeys and
chimpanzees on Baboon Islands. Their fishing itinerary included
both freshwater tiger fishing and coastal sea fishing.
There was the opportunity to meet local people and experience
some of the culture.
