There
are charter flights to Gambia from
Stansted Airport (STN, London) departing every week on a Tuesday
commencing on the ~21st December through January & February.
Booking this seat offer is only available for The Gambia during
the Christmas period as well as the winter holiday season.
The time for boarding the aircraft is at 9am with your arrival
at Banjul being 5.10 pm. The trip may involve a stopover
via Rabil Boa Vista Airport (BVC) in the Cape Verde islands. The
return flight from Banjul International Airport is at 2.45 pm
and 6 pm and arrives as Stansted 5 hours later. Do check details
with the carrier as times and dates may vary.
Hamburg international airline was chartered to fly to Banjul by
the tour operator Gambia Experience but it went into administration
in October 2010 and they have been unable to find a suitable alternative.
As a result the Gambia Experience will unfortunately now be unable
to operate this route for this season.
Remember:
Only flights with durations of 7 nights, 14 nights and so on are
possible from London Stansted. Should you wish more air ticket
flexibility with dates such as preferring 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 or
13 night flight options to Banjul (Yundum) then you should consider
London Gatwick
instead which may turn out to be cheaper.
Extra Information:
Should you require special assistance (ISS) you must inform the
tour operator of your particular needs at least 48 hours before
you fly or even better still at the time of buying your ticket.
