Review: (Holiday Beach Club
Hotel)
A laid back and under-stated hotel the Holiday Beach
Club is set between just off the Senegambia Strip
and not far from Sarges Hotel. There is a discreet
entrance which marks a 240 metre driveway which ends
at the parking area and the so called 'Happy Corner
Stall' which is set on a gentle slope. From here it
is possible to sea across to the ocean's horizon with
its magnificent seaview.
The footpath leading to the beach has on one side
rows of rooms and suites that were upgraded in 2001.
On the hill stands two accommodation blocks consisting
of 16 double rooms apiece. The smarter suites are
situated to the right side of the reception area with
their large bedrooms, dining areas and lounges. And
on the gentle rise between the ocean and the pool
the rooms are not as well looked after.
If you need to be at the centre of the tourist scene
but on a budget, the hotel represents one of the best
value for money accommodation choices.
