Review:
Nemasu Lodge was formerly known as
Rasta Kunda,
which by 2006 was in urgent need of complete renovation.
In 2009 Greg Haarburger and Hillary Griffith fell
in love with the area and began upgrading and rebuilding.
Today the lodge has undergone a complete transformation
and is now a jewel on one of the most pristine, beautiful
beaches in Gambia. The rooms are clean, quiet and
comfortable, with a magnificent view of the Atlantic
ocean. The surprisingly spacious rooms lead right
out onto the sand.
The restaurant produces good quality dishes, and focuses
mainly on seafood brought in fresh from the local
fishing village.
The area is bristling with palm trees, clean white
sand, plenty of mango trees, birds and even monkeys
to share your breakfast with! |
