Background & Biography:
 Isatou
Bah was born in Faji Kunda, The Gambia, is an autodidactic artist
with a wide range of creativity.
Early school years brought her excellent results in Visual Arts
like batiks (tie and dye), experimenting with natural pigments
and different techniques.
The loss of her father interrupted her creative life and she followed
her family obligations to support her mother and sisters.
Since 2019 Isatou Bah is working creative again in sculpturing
upcycled materials and power and colourful paintings with mixed
materials on canvas and wood, exhibited and sold at the craft
market in The Gambia.
She is a member of the Artist Collective / group 'ART27' SINCE
2024.
