Information:
The Today Newspaper Company Ltd. is a privately owned,
Banjul based, colour publication founded in July 2007. The
tabloid paper's circulation is 1,500 copies per day (Monday
to Friday).
The publication is distributed beyond the precincts of the Central
Business Districts of The Gambia. It has networks that ensure that
people who would ordinarily not have access to newspapers are able to
buy one.
It has a special page for news in the provinces called 'News
Upcountry'.
Style & Coverage:
Sections include daily news articles, opinion, business, sport,
society / culture, arts and tourism.
The proprietor is Mr. Abdul Hamid Adiamoh a Nigerian
entrepreneur.
