 Ecco
Gambia is a cultural based non-governmental organisation
that promotes cultural enterprise and learning. They
offer courses in West African storytelling, dance,
music for
university students from the US and Europe as well as
local students. They also aid community focused institutions
in the building and management of cultural camps providing
teaching workshops for the arts.
Ecco uses culture
as a means for communicating information to community
groups of issues such as social rights and health in
Gambia.
