Information:
The Heritage Agenda is a community organisation established
in 2007 which is engaged in heritage and research and
its funding is from local sources. It works with a number
of other community organizations and NGOs.
The grass roots Heritage Agenda has committed itself
to research in the fields of Gambian culture
and history, with
special emphasis to women's history and the various
contributions that history and cultural practices can
bring to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. The
organization seeks to involve youth in the preservation
of local and community heritage.
The organization works with youth volunteer researchers.
It has IT and special recording equipment.
