 The
West African Network For Peacebuilding (WANEP) Gambia
chapter was founded in Banjul in 2003. It is a non-profit
NGO comprised of over 20 CSOs championing the increase
of the capacity of peace building advocates, non-governmental
and government institutions.
They also work towards developing conflict prevention
groupings and systems to enhance the culture of stability
and promote policies that will strengthen social, economic
and democratic advancement.
