Information:
DAS is a branch of the Ministry of Agriculture. Its
function is to lend support services to mostly rural
village farmers via 25 centres spread out across The
Gambia. This takes the form of crop growing, pest control
and to communicate announcements to farmers and to co-ordinate
development agency aid work. The Department of Livestock
Services also assists livestock producers via around
100 specialists in 60 geographical areas.
It is made up of a number of divisions called units.

Directions:
