What To Pack For A 2 Week
Holiday?:
If you are staying in Gambia for just a couple of weeks
along the beach hotel resorts of Kololi, Kotu, Bijilo,
Brufut etc. then there are a few suggested travel
accessories, medications and items not to forget
to pack before you board your flight to Banjul. Not
everyone's packing list will be the same, as it depends
on how long you are staying and where you are staying.
If you run out, or forget anything, most of the items
below can be purchased locally.
Travel Accessories / Holiday Supplies:
Anti-deep vein thrombosis flight socks
Bodycare and hygiene products, especially baby powder
for heat rash
Boots for bush treks and safaris and denims or thick
trousers

If you are planning to live in The Gambia over the long-term
in a remote lodge or are heading up-country or are staying
with a local family, then there are additional things
to consider putting in your suitcase, which includes
much of the above as well as few more items below.
Antibiotics
Antifungal powder or cream for fungal skin infections
& thrush
Antiseptics and disinfectants
Antispasmodic medicines to treat stomach cramps
Bath towel and washcloth
Bed sheets (at least 4); Pillow covers (at least 2)
Cold and flu tablets, nasal decongestant & throat

Collapsible hand fan using rechargeable batteries
