This is a staffed, family vacation home located
in the Gambia's newly developed Brusubi Estate
and is designed in an airy, open plan style. The
furnishings are fairly adequate and comfortable
and there is plenty of room in the garden to relax
in.
There are 3 double guest rooms with the master
having its own bathing facilities while the other
2 bedrooms share. The room's fans should be adequate
for cooling off during the winter season however,
each bedroom has been fitted with an efficient
air-conditioning unit.
The central feature of the house is the 8 x 4
metre swimming pool which is surrounded by
a several sun loungers, a barbecue unit, and a
roofed garden seating area called a Bantaba. During
the daytime you might find yourself more in the
garden than inside the house!
Help yourself to their
delicious, home-grown bananas.
The advantage with this location is that it is
well served by local transport and is at a crossroads
leading to the north, south, east and west coast
region so most tourist attractions aren't difficult
to get to. Visit Abuko Nature Reserve, Tanji fishing
village and museum or head off to the capital
at Banjul.
