Review: This is a well-planned property in a nice tropical garden. All double bedrooms, private shower, toilet and running hot water. Bamboo also has a family apartment available with a satellite TV and lounge. The owners run their own beach bar and diner which is just 7 minutes stroll away.

Blue Parrot Guest House

Location: Kololi, Senegambia Highway

Review: This is a very basic place with no frills. 4 double bedrooms, each with own shower / flushing toilet, mini-fridge and fans. It's in a very convenient location on main coastal road and near many diners and night clubs.

Review: Casa Carla has 5 deluxe, en-suite bedrooms, fabulous dining (semi-Al fresco) and a faultless, neatly landscaped garden with dip pool. Each suite has a double bed, seating, ceiling fan, satellite TV and more. It's a Wi-Fi zone and disabled 'friendly' accommodation.

Review: A basic lodge with single or double bedroom with fridge, kettle, fan and mosquito net. The place can be a bit risky to stay in since they have no back-up power generator or water supply. An upgrade to a room with its own kitchen is available. It could have shared bathing facilities so do enquire with the owners to make sure.

Review: Two very civilized, modernized huts and 2 basic rooms in guesthouse, each with king-size bed and net. The huts have large walk-in-shower, toilet, fan, fridge, seating and wardrobes. The guesthouse rooms have a stand fan with shared facilities, such as bathing.
