is the Gambia's oldest insurance company and used to be owned by
British interests until it later changed ownership and became a Gambian owned company.
Prior to the early 1970s it was named Northern Insurance.
The firm has a number of branches up-river and on the North Bank at
Basse, Barra and Soma.
