The service was set up to guide Gambian business

to improve the productivity of their businesses.
It is focused on the development of small scale
entrepreneurship in the country and provides them
with microfinance soft loans.
This is the government agency responsible for issuing
aliens' ID cards, national identity cards, residential
permits, work permits and driving licenses. It is
staffed by the IND.
